Welcome. Before you start any of the other courses, this short one gets three things out of the way, so the rest of your time goes on learning rather than working out where things are.
First, you’ll see how every course on the site is built, so you always know where you are and what comes next. Second, you’ll see how the site keeps track of what you do, from XP and levels to badges you can add to LinkedIn. Third, you’ll get a practice space ready, a sandbox, because the other courses ask you to try things out rather than just read about them.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course you’ll be able to
Allow about an hour in total. There are three parts, each with a few short steps, two quick quizzes and two activities. You can stop at any point and pick up where you left off.
Getting the sandbox ready can take longer if you need to ask someone for one. That’s fine: you can finish the rest and come back to the last part when your sandbox arrives.
