Build Canvas Quizzes with the Quiz Builder is a free, one-week course for lecturers, teachers and learning designers who write quizzes for Canvas. You will learn to use the PrettyJaded Quiz Builder to turn questions into a file you can import into Canvas New Quizzes or an item bank, so you stop typing questions in one at a time.
The course runs over five short days of about 20 to 30 minutes each. You will learn the question format, choose between seven question types, check and fix your questions, and import a quiz into Canvas. You can use questions you have written or questions drafted by an AI tool.
Every day earns a skill badge, and finishing the week earns a course badge you can share. There is a short quiz on Day 4, with a pass mark of 70% and retakes if you need them.
